The Kukkiwon is the World Taekwondo Headquarters in Seoul, South Korea — the global authority on Taekwondo belt rank. A Kukkiwon 5th Dan is internationally recognised as one of the highest levels of certified expertise in the sport.
Does Master Nam teach every class?
Yes. Master Nam personally leads classes at Unity Taekwondo in Chilliwack. You won't be handed off to a junior instructor — your child trains with the Master directly.
What is Hapkido and Yongmoodo?
Hapkido is a Korean martial art focused on joint locks, throws and self-defence. Yongmoodo is a Korean grappling art. Master Nam holds 4th Dan in both — meaning your child's instruction is grounded in a far broader martial arts foundation than Taekwondo alone.
