Chilliwack's educational martial arts school. We teach kicks, and we teach the confidence, discipline and respect that outlast the belts.
Unity Taekwondo is an educational martial arts school first. Character and confidence are what we are really teaching.
The techniques are the tools. What lasts is the confidence and self-control your child takes into the classroom and onto the playground.
Courtesy to instructors, teammates and family. The habit follows them out the door.
Shy kids stand taller within weeks. Small wins add up until the child believes it too.
Focus and self-control, built by repetition. The same skill helps with attention at school.
Every belt is earned. Kids set a goal, work through the hard part and see the progress for themselves.
Shy kids stand taller in the first few weeks. Small wins add up into self-belief that stays.
The Unity Method: a three-pillar approach to building confidence, focus and measurable progress.
Every class is led by a Kukkiwon-certified 5th Dan Master, not by a junior instructor working up the ranks.
A qualified team and a clean floor, in a room where every child gets a welcome.
Parades, camps, festivals and Canada's Got Talent. Master Nam brings 16 years of teaching, and Unity shows up in town year after year.
Parents notice the difference within weeks: more focus at school, more respect at home, more confidence in public.
Unity shows up year after year: on stage, in parades, at festivals and in the lives of Fraser Valley families. We're not a franchise. We're your neighbours.

Unity is an educational martial arts school, not just a fitness class. We use Taekwondo to teach kids respect, confidence, and self-control while they learn to kick, spar, and break boards. Our head instructor is a Kukkiwon-certified 5th Dan black belt, and we welcome students from age 4 up to adults.
That's a big part of what we teach. Along with kicks and forms, every class works on focus, self-control, and setting goals. Kids learn to listen, stick with hard things, and follow through. Parents often tell us those habits show up at school and at home, not only in class.
No pressure, no experience needed. Tell us about your child and we'll set up a free class, usually within 24 hours.
